The REALTOR Association is dedicated to promote professionalism in it's members through adherence and enforcement of the REALTOR'S Code of Ethics. These rules and standards set a REALTOR apart from a licensee. The Association provides Multiple Listing Service to it's members through the North Texas Real Estate Information System which now has over 13,000 REALTORS.

The Granbury Association of REALTORS was first chartered as the Hood-Somervell Board of REALTORS on January 29,1972 to promote a more professional real estate image in the two county area. In 1976 the name was changed to Granbury Board of REALTORS and then in December of 1995 the members voted to change the name to Granbury Association of REALTORS.
